Inspired By The Natural Beauty Of Costa Rica

I spent 3 months living in Costa Rica… it was the first location on my 18 month project ‘The Impact Diaries’ and my first attempt capturing the natural beauty of our world with a drone.

It didn’t take long (only my 2nd flight) to crash the drone while attempting to capture a waterfall in a valley near San Jose… rookie mistake!

After a few nervous flights following that, I really started getting the hang of how to capture great quality footage.

Throughout my time in Costa Rica I met beautiful people and visited breathtaking locations like Manual Antonio National Park, Monteverde Cloud Forest and the Osa Peninsula.

The music you hear in the music video was inspired by the natural beauty of this country – I wrote on a grand piano inside a small castle in the hills of Cartago in my last few days in Costa Rica.

Manuel Antonio National Park is a stunning place!

I captured this shot with my drone while exploring one day.

SAVING SEA TURTLES

One of the most memorable experiences from my time in Costa Rica was traveling to the Osa Peninsula to film a short documentary about a remarkable sea turtle conservation project there.

Thanks to Magali, Hanna, Bella, Arielle, Andras and the rest of the team for making me feel so welcome.
